so about habbitats. i should probably get on with the designs for the laser cutter and go find some moss. i really like the connection between incorrect designs and then the perfection of nature and how precise it is. the designs i have done remind me slightly of hybrids between insect and robot. reminds me or h.r.geiger.
humans perception of perfection. that view of 'what you must have' you must be a certain way to be at the top of the heirachy. which heir-achy i'm not sure, but there is a certain pressure to be a certain way and dress a certain way and buy a certain way, to have a certain type of home. where are these pressures coming form.

traditional bad things: farting. swearing. debt. spitting. prostitution.
traditional good things: furniture. money. boyfriends. kids. home. holidays.
i am just giving myself a list of unanswered questions.
otherwise i have been thinking about having a collaboration with insects ha. this sounds crazy. maybe getting in contact with a course at leeds university that have labs and insects that could direct me on information and living conditions.
at the moment i think there is a large correlation between insects and the human race. we all busy around on the same paths and routines, but i think its just a complicated version of say the ants... collect the food, put the food back at home, feed the kids, repeat. we as a race have the same routine. i seem to be generalising alot. because there are alternative ways of living.
we are already born into a life set out for us... if we are satisfied and ignorant enough we will go about our existence unchanged.
Look!
Actually. don't bother.
initial ideas:
- wear an ant mask and do daily domestic routines.
- start an ant walk. advertising alternate ways of living.
We are puppets
